July 14, 2016: FMOG Appeals Denial of Gas Burner

Freeport McMoRan Oil & Gas (FMOG) appealed the Zoning Administrator's (ZA) denial of its proposal to install a CEB 800 flare to burn 400,000 cubic feet of gas per day at the Murphy Drill Site on Adams Blvd.  The ZA highlighted that the gas burner " not in the interests of the public’s health, welfare, and safety.

[NEW DATE] Hearing Notice: June 3, 2014, Expansion of Murphy Oil Site

Update about the May 20 S. LA Planning Commission Hearing and NEW DATE (JUNE 3, 2014) to hear the appeals of the LA City Planning Dept., approval that allows the oil company (FMOG) to expand its operations of the Murphy oil site (Adams and Gramercy next to St. Andrews Apts) into the enclosed "park" at 27th and St. Andrews south of the controlled drill site.
